Like the Watts we love this super versatile helmet. This helmet is a two-piece construction which means its super durable but still lightweight, and it comes with a soft woven liner and adjustable dial to get the right fit. It is a peaked helmet so the peak helps to block the sun when riding but it can also protect your goggles if you were to have a crash. The helmet also has ventilation holes for extra airflow. The liner can also be swapped out for a summer liner for biking or kayaking.

*What is EPS?
EPS is lightweight, effective across a wide range of temperatures and conditions and highly effective at reducing the amount of energy transferred to your head during an impact. EPS accomplishes that energy reduction by collapsing during the impact, converting some of the energy into heat and slowing the transmission of energy. A key advantage of EPS is the reliability of the moulded part to deal with impact energy over a wide range of conditions
*What is ABS?
Acrylonitrile butadiene styrene is a thermoplastic that is widely used in helmets. From a performance standpoint, ABS has high impact resistance, functions well in cold weather and is, simply put, tough and durable.
**What is BOA
BOA system is a patented dial that tightens and loosens cord or stainless steel cables. This system is used in a array of sporting applications from helmets to shoes to ski/snowboard boots.
*** What is MIPS technology?
MIPS stands for Multi-directional Impact Protection System. Called a slip plane, the interior layer, allows for 10-15 mm of rotational movement between the head and the helmet in the critical 10-15 milliseconds after an oblique impact. This reduces the rotational forces exerted on the brain during impact and, presumably, reduces brain injury relative to the same helmet without MIPS.
It turns out the brain is great at handling linear impacts, a straight shot to the skull, but very bad at handling oblique impacts which create rotational strain. It’s why an uppercut knocks a boxer out, but a direct punch to the face just breaks a nose. Most accidents skiing, kayaking or cycling induce rotational forces on the brain, not linear. Helmets and test standards were designed to deal with linear impact.
